Hotel Canne al Vento

What I liked the most? Better ask me what I didn't like. Then I don't have to write anything :-). The owners and staff were super-friendly and helpfull. For example: because we needed to take the first ferry (to Corse) they especially made early breakfast and even drove us (for free) to the harbour afterwards. The breakfast was fantastic every morning, with a huge choice and the best coffee. The room was big, quiet and with a comfortable bed. The whole hotel is super-clean and the decoration of it is very tasteful and stylishly done. For us this is the biggest plus of this hotel as it gives it a great atmaosphere. All my regards to the owner for this. Next to the hotel is a very popular, good restaurant, opposit is a supermarket and the town-centre is close-by. It's also a very conveniently located base to do a lot of nice trips. Parking space is not a problem either (in front of the hotel or just around the corner). Price-quality wise it's good as well. So...without a shred of hesitation I would like to recommend this hotel to everyone. And I wish to thank the owners for their hospitality and the great stay they gave us. Just one little recommandation: We Belgians are used to eat bread in the morning. So, if there was some more choice in that and a little less in all the (delicious) types of breakfast pastries and cakes, that would be (even more) fantastic :-).

Charming hotel and great staff. Great communication. They reached out to us in advance and gave us wonderful directions. Our friends were arriving late and they helped us checked them in advance so that everything was smooth upon their late arrival. The location was great for us: we had a quick 5 min walk to center of town and also a similar quick (8min)walk to the marina where we took a boat ride the following day. The breakfast was amazing and the best we had so far in Sardegna. Beds were super comfortable.

Location is just perfect. 15 minutes walk from Ferry port from Bonifaccio Corsica, 8 minutes walk to town center, 5 minutes walk to the bus that takes you to other parts of Cerdegna, 10 minutes walk to a very nice beach, the wifi works very well, the restaurant has great cooking and reasonable prices, with gluten and lactose free options, the breakfast buffet is very good and they even can make you eggs any style or prepare good coffee or capuchino, there is a big supermarket in front of the hotel where you can get anything you could need, to take the boats to visit La Madalena islands is just 15 minutes walk back to the port.

We so appreciate the extra lengths you went to help us get on the earlier ferry - we would have had no idea about Moby cancelling if you had not have told us. Thank you for going above and beyond to make sure our journey wasn’t disrupted. We have been traveling for about 40 hours from Australia and your hospitality and help made our journey so much easier. Thank you again to the lovely Papa who so kindly drove us to the ferry at such an early hour and for making sure we were able to get on the earlier ferry. We cannot thank you enough.

The owners and the staff are so kind and they did all their best to make myself confortable and to make easier my stay in Santa Teresa. Special mention to the father his daughter and the lady who’s at the reception who all advised and helped me a lot on the transport and for booking an excursion to see the the Maddalena island and other small islands around Sardinia. They lent me a beach towel and an umbrella to go to the beach ! The breakfast was great with several choices and the location is fantastic, close to Rena Bianca beach, several nice restaurants and pharmacies. One of the best thing that I also enjoyed is a supermarket in front of the hotel ! I cannot forget the nice and kind present received from the lady at the end of my stay ! Thank you so much for the unforgettable stay that I had in Santa Teresa at your hotel Canne al Vento !
